Anti-Racism Resources

BSCTC is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that embraces diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and justice. BSCTC stands firm against racism in all its forms. We recognize that racism is pervasive and systemic, and we are committed to dismantling it in all its forms.

Disability Resource Center

All students wishing to request accommodations must identify themselves as a student with a disability and make an official request for accommodations. If you are a student with a documented disability and wish to request accommodations at BSCTC, go here.

Bias Incident Reporting

A bias incident is any conduct, speech or expression motivated, in whole or in part, by bias or prejudice. These actions are meant to intimidate, demean, mock, degrade, marginalize, or threaten individuals or groups based on that individual or group's actual or perceived identities.

DEIB LibGuide

Cultural Diversity’s LibGuide is devoted to providing resources and materials to foster learning, curiosity, and exploration of topics including academic dialogues, social issues, and authors of note. Students, staff and faculty, and the Big Sandy community are encouraged to peruse the tabs and find the article, podcast, book, or other material that best suits your interests.

Scholarships

At Big Sandy, we offer dozens of scholarships. Some are general scholarships for students in any field while some are dedicated to students in specific majors. Fill out ONE Big Sandy general online application so that we can consider you for the best scholarship match!
