The purpose of the program is to prepare individuals as professional drivers for the truck driving industry. The course content is designed to familiarize students with the fundamental and operational procedures to become professional truck drivers.
Jobs may be obtained locally and regionally or via interstate and international companies.
Truck drivers are utilized in a variety of different companies.
According to the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a 11 percent growth in Trucking careers from 2012 through 2022 paying a median wage of $38,200 annually or $18.37 an hour.
