  • Must reside in Johnson, Magoffin, Floyd, Pike, or Martin County
  • Preference given to student who has served in the United Stated Armed Forces
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Must demonstrate the need for financial assistance and is not receiving the maximum amount of Federal Pell Grant funding

BLUEGRASS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP

  • Must demonstrate the potential for academic success and desire for achievement

  • Must be enrolled in a technical field of study (such as math, science, or engineering)
  • Preference given to students who are the children of current employees of Bocook Engineering, Inc.

  • Must be enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program (AAS, diploma, or certificate)

CECIL CYRUS LAW ENFORCEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

  • Awarded to one student from Johnson Central High School and one student from Paintsville High School majoring in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement

DRS. CHANDRA AND MAHENDRA VARIA SPECIAL FUND

  • Must be a nontraditional student returning to college for a new career or skill upgrade who has not already completed a baccalaureate degree or a nontraditional student entering college for the first time
  • Must be enrolled in program that contribute to workforce development in high-need areas and/or plans to transfer to a baccalaureate degree program in Kentucky

  • Must be nontraditional student, age 25 or above
  • Must reside in Johnson, Floyd, Lawrence, Magoffin, Martin, Morgan, or Pike County

CHRIS FLEMING SCHOLARSHIP FUND

  • Must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours (full-time)
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Applicants must submit a proposal for performing a "Building A Better You" project during the academic year that exemplifies wellness goals and philosophies in one or more of the following components: emotional, intellectual, physical, environmental, spiritual, social, and occupational
  • Preference given to students who are overcoming significant hardships in one of the above-mentioned components
  • Must have completed the current FAFSA

  • Must be a first generation college student
