Transportation & Logistics

Courses have to be completed at the college by the college instructor to earn dual credit due to ASE accreditation. Student taking these courses in high school will not be eligible for dual credit.

This pathway leads to 2 different tracks; however, not all tracks are available at all institutions teaching Auto Technology.

  2. ADX 260/261: Electrical Systems & Lab
    Certificate: automotive electrician
  3. ADX 150/151: Engine Repair & Lab
    Certificate: Engine Repairer
  4. ADX170/171: Climate Control & Lab
    Certificate: Automotive A/C Mechanic
  5. AUT 110/111: Brake Systems & Lab
    Certificate: Brake Repairer
  6. AUT 160/161: Suspension & Steering & Lab
    Certificate: Front End Mechanic
  7. MAT 105: Business Mathematics OR Higer
  8. AUT 130/131: Manual Drive Train & Axles & Lab
    Certificate: Manual Transmission/Drive Train Technician
  9. AUT 180/181: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle & Lab
    Certificate: Automotive Transmission/Drive Technician
  10. ENG 101: Writing I

Students must receive a grade of ā€œCā€ or better to receive credit for successful completion of courses in the Diesel Technology curriculum.

This pathway leads to 3 tracks; however, not all tracks are available at all intuitions teaching Diesel Technology Courses.

  7. MAT 116: Technical Mathematics (or higher)
  8. WLD 120/121: Welding for Maintenance & Lab
    OR
    IMT 100/101: Welding for Maintenance & Lab
    OR
    DIT 121: Welding for Maintenance Lab
  9. DIT 103: Preventative Maintenance Lab
    Certificate: Preventative Maintenance Mechanic
