To Space and Back Premiers at the East Kentucky Science Center Planetarium
Space exploration, our greatest adventure, is having a big impact on our lives.
It is helping us to discover a universe of unimaginable scale and beauty, and it is
reaching down into our world and influencing the way we live.
To Space amp; Back takes audiences on an incredible journey from the far reaches of our known universe
to our own planet. It is an extraordinary story of human ingenuity and incredible
engineering, describing how the technology that transports us through space is paving
the way for the devices and apps we use every day.
From fire fighters equipment, to medical technology, to cell phones, to sports, the
technology that got us into space is being used by us every day here on Earth.
What is happening above is coming back down to Earth!
To Space and Back was produced by Sky-Skan in Nashua, NH in association with the Franklin Institute
in Philadelphia, PA, and is currently showing in Planetariums in Philadelphia and
Trenton, NJ.
To Space and Back will have its local debut at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 1st.
Admission to the East Kentucky Science Center is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students
