SUNSTRUCK PREMIERS AT THE EAST KENTUCKY SCIENCE CENTER AND PLANETARIUM

Sunstruck: Explore the SunDiscover the wonders of our Sun. Its incredible energy has supported life on earth for millennia, but is now threatening our technology and way of life. Travel to the distant future to discover our Suns connection to the universes cosmic cycle of life and death.

Produced by the Michigan Science Center with a grant from NASA, and narrated by noted science fiction writer Mike Shepherd, this brand new, full dome planetarium experience is currently available in only a handful of Planetariums in the World.

Sunstruck will premier to the public at the East Kentucky Science Center and Planetariumduring National Astronomy Day on Saturday, April 25th. Doors to the Science Center will open at noon, and admission is FREE during National Astronomy Day.

There will be Planetarium shows, hands on activities, Solar Observing if skies are clear and several give-a-ways, including a raffle for a free telescope.
