SPEAKERS BUREAU SPOTLIGHT: DR. AGUS SOFYAN
Dr. Agus Sofyan, an associate professor of Biology, first joined the faculty at Big Sandy Community and Technical College in 2007. Dr. Sofyan obtained his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2004. He also has a minor in Environmental Toxicology.Dr. Sofyan is a native of Indonesia. Increase retention rate by making class lecture interesting and meaningful for students Lesson from Aamp;P: This is an interactive workshop intended for teachers and/or instructors that focuses on how to increase the retention rate in the classroom by making the lecture interesting and meaningful for students. The presenter will show several examples of topics in Human Anatomy amp; Physiology that are related to students' health and lives with an interesting presentation. The presentation will be useful for biology teachers as well.
