Mike McCoy named Director of Advancement at BSCTC

Mike McCoy has been named director of advancement at Big Sandy Community and Technical College.

McCoy, of Pikeville, has more than three decades of financial and wealth management experience and has served in several capacities including president and chief executive officer.

Mike demonstrates the passion and innovation needed to blend the work we are doing with stakeholders, said BSCTC President Dr. Devin Stephenson. His vast experience in leading financial institutions and managing wealth will be a great asset to our development office and the work of the Big Sandy College Educational Foundation, Inc.

McCoy will oversee giving, scholarships and endowments, and will serve as executive director of the Big Sandy College Educational Foundation, Inc.

Big Sandy Community and Technical College has played and continues to play a leading role in community, workforce and economic development, said McCoy. We have a great story to tell one of transformation and opportunity. I look forward to connecting the college with those who think like-minded and who are committed to the success of our region.
