LASEROCK SHOW TO DEBUT FOR FIRST TIME IN KENTUCKY AT EKSC

Laserock will make its Kentucky debut at the East Kentucky Science Center and Varia Planetarium (EKSC) on Saturday, April 16.

Steve Russo, director of the EKSC, said the show, featuring songs by Ozzy Osborne, Foreigner, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, ZZ Top, Yes, Motorhead, Rush, Genesis and Emerson Lake and Palmer, will debut at a 7 p.m. showing on Saturday, April 16.

We are excited that we are the first planetarium in Kentucky to have this show, said Russo. This is a great show that will entertain the entire family.

The EKSC features some of the most innovative equipment in the world. With a 40-foot dome and the Spitz Sci-Dome projection system, one of only two dozen in the world, the planetarium has the states only GOTO Star Projector, which brings space exploration to life for visitors.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $5. For more information, call (606) 889-8260.
