KENTUCKY POWERS BRAD HALL TALKS FINANCES, JOB SKILLS WITH BSCTC STUDENTS

This marks the third semester that Hall has come to speak with the freshman college students. His presentation teaches students about money management skills including how to open and balance a checking account, how to budget for a family, saving for retirement early, investing in stocks and how to handle credit cards, among other topics.
Hall also speaks about job interviewing, and shares his experiences as a manager on what managers look for in an interview. Students did mock interviews with one another, and learned how to answer interview questions properly.
I really appreciated Mr. Hall's presentation, said BSCTC student Zachary Wright. He helped me learn that I need to start thinking about saving now for the future and not waste money. Also, the job interview information was very helpful. I think his presentation helps college students to deal with real-world issues that we face at our age.
