KELLI HALL SELECTED TO MCCALL LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Kelli Hall, director of Workforce Solutions at BSCTC, has been selected to the McCall Leadership Academy at the Kentucky Community and Technical College System. Kelli Hall, director of Workforce Solutions and the Kentucky Coal Academy at Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC), has been selected for the McCall Leadership Academy (MLA).

Named in honor of Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Emeritus Dr. Michael B. McCall, the MLA promotes and strengthens leadership among KCTCS faculty and staff to advance the college and systems strategic agenda.

Im honored and humbled to have an opportunity to learn and grow through the McCall Leadership Academy, said Hall.

A certified facilitator for The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People leadership series, Hall coordinates customized business training through the colleges Workforce Solutions division. She is chair of the Regional Unified Business Team in eastern Kentucky, as well as chair for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

She earned her undergraduate and graduate degree from Morehead State University and is currently enrolled in the universitys Educational Specialists program. Hall is a graduate of both Leadership East Kentucky and Leadership Floyd County.

Dr. Charles V. Chrestman, interim president and CEO of BSCTC, said Halls participation in the MLA is vital in nurturing leadership at the college.

Kelli demonstrates a desire to learn and a desire to help the college serve the evolving needs of business and industry in our service area, said Dr. Chrestman. I know she will make the most of this exciting opportunity and bring new ideas back to the college.
