INTERESTED IN INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL? ATTEND GLOS INAUGURAL GLOBAL NIGHT OCTOBER 9

The Global Learning Organization (GLO) at Big Sandy Community and Technical College will host its inaugural Global Night at 6 p.m., Friday, October 9 at the East Kentucky Science Center and Varia Planetarium.

The event will officially launch the student organization GLO and share upcoming trips to Belize, Cuba and Italy. Trips are open to the community and students can earn credit while studying abroad. Students can also learn about ways to raise funds for their trip.

Students have always loved to travel and experience new things, we combined the two into a wonderful opportunity for our students and are thrilled at the possibilities said Greta Heintzelman Slone, an associate professor of English and GLO coordinator.
