EKSC HOSTS NANODAYS

The East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium (EKSC), powered by Appalachian Wireless, held NanoDays on Saturday, March 28.

The facility, located on the Prestonsburg campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC), was one of three centers in Kentucky to host the national festival of educational programs focused on nanoscience and engineering.

NanoDays is organized through the Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network (NISE Net).

The EKSC and Alltech will host Super Science Saturday on Saturday, May 2. The event will begin at 10 a.m. and is free with admission to the EKSC.
