BSCTC & the Morehead Extended Campus location at Prestonsburg will be closed from Feb 19th to Feb 21st due to inclement weather.

    EKSC 2010 Summer Camps Now Available!

    Kids at Science CampThe following camps will be held this summer at the East Kentucky Science Center:

    • Wild Things! (June 22, Ages 5-9) - Go wild this summer! Meet the newest members of the science centerour animals!! Make imprints of animal tracks, go on an insect scavenger hunt, make a bird feeder and more.
    • Momentum! (June 23-24, Ages 10-14) - Have fun making things that move and then take them home with you! You will make a bottle rocket, a hovercraft and more.
    • Chemistry for Kids (July 13, Ages 5-9) - Want to make a mess without getting in trouble? If so, come to this camp where you will make icky, sticky substances, create a unique t-shirt*, make your own paper, grow some crystals and more!
      (*campers must bring their own white t-shirt )
    • Energee! (July 14-15, Agest 10-14) - Learn about the science of energy while having a lot of fun. Make a rocket, test sunscreens, learn about the colors of light and more!
