BSCTC WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS HOLDS GRAPHIC ARTS CAREER CRAZE CAMP WITH HERALD WHITAKER STUDENTS

Mary Daniel, left, co-owner of 78 Dezynes, teaches Herald Whitaker Middle School student Destiney Conley how to cut vinyl designs.Big Sandy Community and Technical Colleges Workforce Solutions division conducted a Graphic Arts Career Craze camp for seventh-grade students from Herald Whitaker Middle School on April 27 through May 1 on the Mayo campus of BSCTC.

Through the assistance of Lori Lewis, professor of visual communications at BSCTC, students learned about photo editing, sign production, heat press, t-shirt design, stapling and cutting.
