BSCTC TO AIR SUPER BOWL COMMERCIAL ON WYMT

Big Sandy Community and Technical College, Hazard Community and Technical College and Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College will air a special football-themed commercial on WYMT during Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7.

We truly feel that education makes you a winner, said Dr. Devin Stephenson, president of BSCTC. Dr. Stephenson joined Southeast Kentucky President Dr. Lynn Moore and Hazard Interim President Dr. Juston Pate for video production at Letcher Central High Schools football stadium on Thursday, January 28.

BSCTC is currently enrolling for the Spring Bi-Term (8-week courses). Classes start on March 14 and financial aid is available to students that qualify.

We want our region to know that we have them covered and we want them to join our winning team, said Dr. Stephenson.

By enrolling at BSCTC, students can take advantage of the states lowest tuition, online course options and outstanding job training programs. Since 2008, the college has increased the number of degrees, diplomas and credentials awarded by 156 percent. During that same time, the college has been able to enroll more than 24,000 first-generation college students.

Its about changing our region one student, one opportunity at a time, said Dr. Stephenson. We know that a lot of people will be watching the Super Bowl who are unemployed, under employed or a parent or guardian of a student thinking about college. Were the first choice of higher education in eastern Kentucky, and we want them to be on our winning team.
