Cassandra McCoy, 23, of Paintsville, was one of several design and technology students on the Mayo campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College to submit designs for the scramble.

Its an honor that they chose my work for the golf scramble, said McCoy. She graduated on Friday, May 9, with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Design and Technology with specialized tracks in graphic design, interactive design and production design.

Lori Lewis, associate professor of visual communications at BSCTC, said the opportunity to create the logo provided students practical experience.

Im proud of all of our students, and I am honored that the logo for the golf scramble was created by one of our own, she said.
