BSCTC receives 'Business of the Year Award'
Paintsville, KY (October 21, 2011) Big Sandy Community and Technical College was selected as the Business of the Year by the Paintsville-Johnson County Chamber of Commerce.
This years Business of the Year, Big Sandy Community and Technical College, is a public, comprehensive educational institution awarding certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees. The College also delivers customized training and services responsive to workforce needs of business and industry through the Workforce Solutions department and the Kentucky Coal Academy.
Accepting the award on behalf of the College, was Dr. George D. Edwards, President/CEO. We are pleased to partner with the Chamber of Commerce and the business leaders in Johnson County. Without the wonderful cooperative relationships and positive community involvement, we would not be able to accomplish all that we do. We are grateful to the Chamber for this wonderful recognition!
