BSCTC PTK CHAPTER ATTENDS NERD NATION CONFERENCE IN FLORIDA

Members of Big Sandy Community and Technical Colleges Alpha Nu Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa recently attended Nerd Nation Conference in Orlando, Fla. Members of the Alpha Nu Zeta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Big Sandy Community and Technical College attended the Nerd Nation Conference April 24-26 at the Swan and Dolphin Disney Resort in Orlando, Fla.

PTK members Aaron Hacker, Hayley Slone, Destiny Mills and Dimitri Bien-Aime were recognized for their Honors in Action, college projects and leadership.

Phi Theta Kappa is an honor society for two-year colleges. To become a member, a student must maintain a 3.5 grade-point average and complete 12 hours of coursework each semester.
