BSCTC PRESENTS KENTUCKY CHAUTAUQUA JOHN G. FEE

Obadiah Ewing-Roush portrayed John Gee Fee in a Kentucky Chautauqua presentation Monday in the Gearheart Auditorium on the Prestonsburg campus of Big Sandy Community and Technical College.  The Office of Cultural Diversity and Library Seminar Series at Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) presented the Kentucky Chautauqua of John GeeFee Monday on its Prestonsburg campus.

Portrayed by Obadiah Ewing-Roush, Fee (1816-1901) was born the son of slave owners, but made his name for being an anti-slavery minister who later founded and opened Berea College.

Kentucky Chautauqua is an exclusive presentation of the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc. with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The Kentucky Humanities council is a non-profit Kentucky corporation affiliated with the National Endowment for the Humanities.
