BSCTC HOSTS EMPLOYEE SERVICE AWARDS

John Herald, left, director of information technology and facilities management, was honored for 45 years of service at Big Sandy Community and Technical Colleges Fall Convocation on Wednesday, August 3 at the Mountain Arts Center.  He is shown with BSCTC President Dr. Devin Stephenson.  Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) held its Employee Service Awards on Wednesday, August 3 at the Mountain Arts Center (MAC).

The college honored employees for their dedication to the college in five-year increments. John Herald, dean of information technology and facilities management, was honored for 45 years of service.

Two former employees Mary Halbert and Betsy Spradlin were recognized as retirees. Mary Wallen and Aaron Brooks, both faculty members, were recognized with the Leading Educator Award from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS).

10 years of service

Linda Daniel, Clayton Case, Joe Campbell, Michael Burke, Stephania Conn, Lisa Pelfrey, Phillip Gullett, Kelli Hall, Michelle Fields and Laura Hall.
