    BSCTC ANNOUNCES CHANGE TO SPRING COMMENCEMENT

    Big Sandy Community and Technical College has announced a change to its Spring 2014 commencement.

    The college will hold its commencement at 7 p.m., Friday, May 9, at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg. A commencement and pinning ceremony for nursing and dental hygiene graduates will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10, at the Mountain Arts Center.

    We feel having the graduation ceremony on Friday evening will allow more guests to attend and share in this special occasion with our graduates, said Jimmy Wright, associate dean of student affairs at BSCTC.
