    BOLD CAMPS GOING STRONG AT BSCTC

    Dr. Tom Vierheller, professor of Biology at Big Sandy Community and Technical College, explains Molecular Biology and Renewable Biomolecules to camp participants during a recent Appalachian BOLD camp on the Prestonsburg campus of BSCTC. Big Sandy Community and Technical College, in conjunction with the East Kentucky Science Center and the University of Kentucky, are completing the third Appalachian BOLD (Bioeconomy, Outreach, Leadership and Development) camps for seventh and eighth graders this month.

    Funded through a grant by the National Science Foundation, the fourth and final camp will be June 22-25 on the Prestonsburg campus of BSCTC.
