Concerning the Recent Mayo Campus Lockdown

Good Afternoon, 

As you may be aware, the Mayo Campus was put on lockdown this afternoon for a brief period of time.  This was due to a situation in the community and did not occur on our Mayo Campus.  The campus was put on lockdown out of an abundance of caution.  The safety and security of our faculty, students and staff is of utmost importance to me.  I want to thank everyone involved in handling the situation so professionally.
