What is Computer and Information Technologies?
The Computer and Information Technologies program provides instruction that focuses on problem solving and communication skills required for professionals working in the computing industry as well as the private sector. The purpose of the Computer and Information Technologies Program is to prepare students for entry-level positions in computer programming, computer science, applications, database administration, information security, network administration, network technologies or Internet technologies.
What are my career options?
Computer support specialists are employed in professional, scientific, and technical services industries, principally computer systems design and related services. Substantial numbers of these workers are also employed in administrative and support services companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, government agencies, educational institutions, software publishers, telecommunications organizations, health care organizations, and management of companies and enterprises.
