Speakers

Ricky Hamilton, Security Manager, WestCare

Ricky is a graduate of Big Sandy Community and Technical College, where he studied computer networking. He then completed his bachelor’s in technology management at Morehead State University. His experience includes IT Support, Process Improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), IT Auditing, and now leading an Information Security department. Originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, he now lives in Tennessee with his wife and daughter and works as the Information Security Manager for WestCare. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing tabletop strategy games in his spare time.


Dr. David Dampier, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences at Marshall University since August 2020.

In this role, he is responsible for supervision of four academic departments with 37 faculty offering 8 undergraduate degrees and 8 graduate degrees. Additionally, the college has a research portfolio of over $15 Million. He also serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for Cyber Security (ICS), a university level center focusing on Research, Teaching and Outreach since October 2021. The ICS is responsible for research in cyber security and has a portfolio of over $7 Million. Prior to Marshall, Dr. Dampier served as Chair of the Department of Information Systems and Cyber Security at U.T. San Antonio. Prior to that he served as Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and founding director of the Distributed Analytics and Security Institute at Mississippi State University.


Ryan Lewis Cybersecurity Adviser Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

Ryan is a retired Army Soldier, who previously worked in the Department of Defense as the Cybersecurity Cyber Compliance Branch Chief, for the Human Resources Command at Fort Knox.  He was responsible for providing real-time Cyber Compliance support, cyber threat intelligence, and vulnerability assessment to HRC, and its mission partners to operate and defend their portion of the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN-A).


Phillip Ross, Cyber Intelligence Analyst, Kentucky Department of Homeland Security


Colin Glover, cybersecurity coordinator with the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency, 

Colin previously worked in the private sector helping companies achieve their cybersecurity goals and in the Department of Defense as a Counterintelligence Special Agent. He is a former Marine and holds a Masters in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia.
