BSCTC Awarded Grant to Provide Summer Bridge Program
The KickStart College Summer Bridge Program is designed to help new BSCTC students get prepared for the changing college environment. This program is designed for the high school class of 2021.
The schedule is flexible, you can choose a morning session or an afternoon session.
Our Summer Bridge FYE105 Course is a four-week course that begins on June 1, 2021.
- If you choose a morning session that will begin at 9:00 a.m. and go until noon.
- If you choose the afternoon session it will go from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
We will be providing lunch daily from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Location: Lobby of the Student Center of the Prestonsburg Campus
FYE 105 - First Year Experience
The First Year Experience course will prepare you for success as a college student and connect you to programs, services and people here to help you!
Course Includes:
- Program and career placement testing
- Study skills and best practices
- Organizational skills
- ...and more!
Orientation will be on June 1-4 beginning at 9:00 a.m. during this session we will be taking tours of the campus, visiting Financial Aid, Admissions & Records and completing their schedules in the Advising Center.
Tutoring Sessions will be offered everyday, and you can choose if you want a morning or afternoon session.
