BSCTC Hosted EKY Regional Science & Engineering Fair

Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) recently hosted the EKY Regional Science & Engineering Fair. Students in grades 4th-12th were invited to display their scientific talents to earn a spot at the KY Science & Engineering Fair. This program brings so much creativity and involvement from the community and allows students to explore their passions. "I think the Science and Engineering Fair is an extremely beneficial thing that the students can participate in because it gives them a chance to take the science and engineering outside their traditional classroom environment," said Joseph Collins, Program Coordinator at the Challenger Learning Center of KY. The first and second-place winners will move on to the KY Science and Engineering Fair at Eastern Kentucky University.
