Big Sandy Community and Technical College and the Morehead Extended Campus will open at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 15. The pinning ceremony for nursing students has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 16, at 6:00 p.m.

    BSCTC Celebrates Read Across America

    read across americaBig Sandy Community and Technical College recently hosted an engaging Read Across America event at its Pikeville campus. The event welcomed children from Model City Daycare to the campus library, where they were treated to captivating stories. Robyn Williams, BSCTC Assistant Professor and librarian at the college, shares, "This event encourages community involvement and a lifelong love of reading for children." This decade-long tradition has become a cornerstone in connecting generations through the power of storytelling. Model City's visit brought smiles, laughter and highlighted how reading plays a vital role in shaping our communities.
