4th Annual Leading Ladies Conference Empowers Women to Create Leadership Legacy
The 4th Annual Leading Ladies Conference, held at Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC), brought together a diverse array of influential women and aspiring leaders from the region for a day of inspiration, empowerment, and skill-building. The conference aimed to equip attendees with the tools and mindset needed to carve out their leadership legacy in their respective fields.
This year's conference was made possible through the generous sponsorship of BSCTC, Southeast Ky Community and Technical College, and Hazard Community and Technical College, reflecting a commitment to supporting women's leadership development in the region.
Under the "Creating Your Leadership Legacy" theme, the conference featured keynote speakers who shared their insights and experiences. The event started with a recorded message by Jacqueline Coleman, Lieutenant Governor, setting the tone for a day of empowerment and reflection.
Allison Ball, Kentucky Auditor, Michelle Rainey, MSN, RN, CAS, NE-BC Pikeville Medical Center Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Jennifer Lindon, President at HCTC and Interim President at SKCTC, KCTCS Attorneys Katie George and Pam Duncan, and featured speaker Wendy Fletcher, DNP, APRN, FAANP all graced the stage with dynamic speeches.
The conference concluded with a thought-provoking panel discussion, allowing attendees to engage with the speakers and delve deeper into the theme of leadership legacy.
