Actalent Visits BSCTC Pikeville Campus

The Pikeville Campus Electrical Department at Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) recently extended an invitation to Actalent, a leading automotive engineering recruitment firm based in Lexington. The collaborative session was attended by students from various programs, including Electrical and Industrial Maintenance, dedicated instructors, and the President of BSCTC, Dr. Rule.

 

The event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to gain insights into the hiring process within the automotive engineering industry. Actalent's recruiter shared valuable information about career opportunities and provided an in-depth understanding of Toyota Manufacturing's specific requirements for prospective candidates.

Instructors John Maynard, George Thornsbury, Joe Compton, and Charles Moore were integral in organizing and facilitating the session, ensuring that students received firsthand knowledge about the skills and qualifications needed to excel in this thriving field.
