Workforce SolutionsBig Sandy Community and Technical College provides many types of training to the community. Our traditional programs offer degrees, diplomas, and certificates. We also have programs where companies or community groups may request specialized training.

Adult Education

Adult EducationIt's never too late for a new beginning. Get Your GED, Improve Your Job Skills, Prepare for Testing, and more. BSCTC hosts Adult Education centers in Johnson Co. and Floyd Co. Our GED classes are completely free. We provide the books, class materials, and experienced instructors to help you earn your high school equivalence at your own pace.

Alumni Robyn Brown Returns to Big Sandy

Robyn Brown grew up in the small community of River, Ky in Johnson County and graduated from Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) with her Associate of Art degree in 2013. She became a substitute teacher in the Johnson County School system and continued her education at Morehead State University and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016. She wanted something more.
