Celebrations held to honor BSCTC Retirees

Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) hosted retirement celebrations for three long - time employees of the college. Bobby McCool, Bryen Goble, and Forrest “Joe” Stewardson retired from BSCTC after a total of 93 years. 

Bobby McCool began at the former Mayo Technical College in 1987 as the college’s welding instructor and served in various leadership capacities before retiring as the Chief Institutional Officer at BSCTC. He served 30 dedicated years. 

Forrest “Joe” Stewardson began his career at Mayo Technical College in 1985. As a trained ASE mechanic himself, he guided students as they reached for their dreams. He even taught current faculty member, Heath Keathley in auto mechanics. He always enjoyed teaching and watching his students learn and retires after 32 years.

Bryen Lynne Goble began her career at the College in 1986 and has worked in different facets during her time at Mayo Technical College and BSCTC.  She retires after 31 years of dedicated service.
