Academic Calendar - Spring 2023

January

  • 4,5 -Registration & Drop/Add (Office Hours:  8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) 
  • 6 -Additional Drop/Add (Office Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
       - CANCELLATION FOR NON-PAYMENT - Last day to pay registration fees in person, or           arrange a Tuition/Fee Payment Plan to avoid cancellation of registration of have                     arrangements made for a third party to pay tuition and fees - Financial Aid, Voc-Rehab,         (Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
  • 8 -Last day to pay registration fees in online
  • 9 -First Day of Classes
  • 13 -Last Day to Withdraw and Receive 100% Tuition Refund or Owe No Money
    - Last Day to Drop a Class Without a Grade
    - Last Day to Change from Audit to Credit
  • 16 -Martin Luther King Day (College Closed - Academic and Administrative Holiday)

February

  • 6 -Last Day to Withdraw from Classes and Receive a 50% Tuition Refund
  • 20 -President’s Day (College Closed - Academic and Administrative Holiday)

March

  • 3 -Midterm
    - Last Day to Change from Credit to Audit
    - Last Day to Withdraw at the Student’s Discretion and Receive a Grade of “W”

    March 4-12 - Spring Break (Academic Holiday)

  • 4-12 -Spring Break (Academic Holiday) (No BSCTC classes, but all other classes meet as                scheduled - KET, etc.)

  • 31 -Deadline to apply for May 2022 Graduation (Applications may be picked up returned   to        any Admission Office at the following locations: Mayo, Pikeville, and Prestonsburg                  Campus

April 

  • 7 -Good Friday (College Closed 1/2 Day – Academic and Administrative Holiday) 
  • 28 -Last Day of Classes
    -Last Day to Withdraw at the Instructor’s discretion and Receive a Grade of “W."
    -(Friday evening/Saturday class withdraws will be accepted Monday, May 1, from 8:00 a.m.                                 to 12:00 noon)

May

  • 1-5 -Final Exams
  • 5-6 -Graduation

Priority Registration for Fall 2023 will be scheduled for March 1, 2023 thru April 12, 2023. Watch your email and student Center (People Soft/My Path) for announcements.
