Student Achievement Disclosure Information

The following charts provide information as to the success of our students at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. Our student achievement goals include student engagement, licensure pass rate, credentials awarded, job placement, graduation, transfer and retention rates.

Student Achievement Goals:

1. Using the Community College Survey of Student Engagement, students will indicate a level of student engagement within the College that meets or exceeds the five CCSSE benchmark scores in the areas of Active and Collaborative Learning, Student Effort, Academic Challenge, Student-Faculty Interaction, and Support for Learners.

2. Using the KCTCS licensure pass rate performance measure, the College will meet or exceed targets established by KCTCS. For Ashland, the following exams are combined to determine a college-wide pass rate: Apprentice Cosmetologist, EMT Basic, Respiratory Care entry-level CRT, HVAC Journeyman, NCLEX-ADN, NCLEX-PN, Nurse Assistant/Aide
