Workforce SolutionsBig Sandy Community and Technical College provides many types of training to the community. Our traditional programs offer degrees, diplomas, and certificates. We also have programs where companies or community groups may request specialized training.

Adult Education

Adult EducationIt's never too late for a new beginning. Get Your GED, Improve Your Job Skills, Prepare for Testing, and more. BSCTC hosts Adult Education centers in Johnson Co. and Floyd Co. Our GED classes are completely free. We provide the books, class materials, and experienced instructors to help you earn your high school equivalence at your own pace.

Lyndon Blake Meade or Blake as everyone calls him, grew up in a family of coal miners with over 30 years among them. Blake like other family members stared his career in coal and worked for two local coal corporations.
