The BSCTC Testing Centers are located on the Prestonsburg Campus (M218), the Pikeville Campus (N216), and the Mayo Campus (Building C). The Testing Center administers all COMPASS and ASSET assessments, as well as other tests and assessments as needed. The Prestonsburg Campus Testing Center is also an authorized Pearson VUE Test Center. For more information about VUE testing, visit the Pearson website at http://www.pearsonvue.com .

Test proctoring is available for students taking face-to-face classes, as well as students enrolled in online courses through distance learning programs. We will accommodate as many requests for test proctoring as possible; however, it is best to make an appointment when requesting assessment proctoring.

Upon arriving for COMPASS, ASSET, a proctored exam, or any test offered through the BSCTC Testing Center, students must provide a valid photo ID. Students interested in preparing to take the COMPASS placement assessment may do so by either
A: Visiting the CER on your campus to obtain packets of review materials;
B: Visiting the links below and working through sample items; or
