Dance Team: Physical Fitness
Physical fitness plays a vital role in the ability of a dancer to perform at his/her best level. Members of the Big Sandy Dance Team are required to follow a physical fitness program that is monitored by the Director each week. When each dancer is at their physical best, the Team performs at its physical best.
Examples of Team fitness activities include aerobics, running, weight training, and various group outing activities (i.e. roller skating, swimming, etc.).
Exercise programs will be set up at the beginning of each year following tryouts in May.
