Mission
The Big Sandy Dance Team exists to promote school spirit, provide enthusiasm, encourage competitiveness and teamwork, and provide extra curricular activities for students. Created in August 2004, the Big Sandy Dance Team provides a unique opportunity for students who enjoy dance and performing arts. As the only dance team throughout Kentucky's community and technical colleges, students of Big Sandy are afforded an opportunity that once only existed at four year institutions in Kentucky. The Dance Team performs at local college and community functions, travels to various competitions throughout the country, sponsors various campus events, and participates in local community activities.
