Welcome to the Library! We have locations on the Mayo, Pikeville and Prestonsburg campuses of Big Sandy Community and Technical College. There are computer labs at each library with staff to assist you with your computer login, student email, and KYVU login. A full range of other library services are also offered.

You can view the online catalog for Big Sandy and all other KCTCS libraries from any computer with Internet access. After creating a log-in on campus, you can use NetLibrary, our collection of electronic books entirely available online. With off-site passwords obtained at the library, you can view and print newspaper, magazine, and journal articles from our databases and the Kentucky Virtual Library. You can contact us by telephone or email with any questions.

All of our campus locations have access to a full-range of print resources to support courses offered through our college. If the information you need is not readily available, we can usually obtain it through interlibrary loan. On every campus, we have a collection of current fiction used by reading classes and for recreational reading.
