BSCTC is again opening the doors of Big Sandy Idol to our area homeschooled and private schooled high school students.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet started the Civil Engineering Technology Scholarship Program in 2009. 5-10 new scholarships are awarded for students to attend Bluegrass Community & Technical College in Lexington, KY and Big Sandy Community & Technical College in Prestonsburg, KY.

Governor Steve Beshear proclaimed February 12 as the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Super Sunday Day in Kentucky on Monday Jan. 30 at a press event in Frankfort.

We hear a lot about time management and how it is supposed to be a good and useful tool to become successful. But just what is good time management and how can someone accomplish it?

Judge Eric Hall graduated from Prestonsburg Community College in 1970 with an Associate of Arts Degree. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He went on to the University of Louisville and received his Juris Doctor in 1977.
