EKSC CAMPS: The East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium will host a variety of camps this summer.
A half-day preschool camps will be held on Tuesday, July 1 (Space Explorers). The event is open to children ages 3-5 and run from 9 a.m. to noon.
One-day camps will be held for children entering kindergarten through third grade on Wednesday, June 25 (Test Tube Creations) and Wednesday, July 9 (Bubble-ology). The events run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch is provided.
One-day camps will be held for children entering grades fourth through eighth on Friday, June 20 (Unsolved Mystery), Friday, June 27 (Doc McScience) and Tuesday, July 29 (Lego my Robot). The events run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch is provided.
A two-day camp (Lost in Space) will be held for children entering grades third through eighth on July 15-16. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and lunch is provided.

LASER BEATLES: The East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium will shoe Laser Beatles at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 21. The show will feature the following songs: “I Wanna Hold Your Hand,” “Twist and Shout,” “Yesterday,” Nowhere Man” and more. Admission is $5.

MUSIC AND DRAMA WORKSHOP: The Big Sandy Community and Technical College Fine Arts department will hold a Children’s Music and Drama Summer Workshop on July 9-24 in the Gearheart Auditorium on its Prestonsburg campus.
The workshop is open for children ages 8 through 13 and will run daily from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is $95.

REGISTRATION FOR FALL SEMESTER: Big Sandy Community and Technical College will host registration for the fall semester on August 11-12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on all of its campuses.
