Center for Enrichment Resources

The BSCTC Center for Enrichment Resources (CER) offers students academic assistance in all subject areas.  Students may receive one-on-one tutoring, small group tutoring, assistance writing papers and performing research, and other academic support services.  Assistance is available both by appointment and on a walk-in basis. 

What can I get help with in the CER?

Practically any academic support need that you may have as a BSCTC student.

Examples of services include:

  • help writing papers
  • help with research
  • study skills workshops
  • help with computers
  • help with math
  • help setting up study groups
  • test proctoring
  • help preparing for the COMPASS placement test
  • help preparing for other standardized tests
  • help logging into and navigating online courses
  • online math tutoring
  • face-to-face tutoring in most of the subjects taught at BSCTC
  • help with the job search process, rèsumè writing, and letters of application to employers and other colleges and universities.
  • Self-paced tutorials to improve math and writing skills

How much does it cost?

All the services provided through the CER to BSCTC students are free of charge.
