- Academic coaching, which provides support, helps establish educational plans, and assists in shaping your behavior to achieve your educational goals.
- At-Risk Early Alert, which identifies and assists students determined to be "at risk" due to academic or personal factors.
- Academic support centers, which provide tutoring and teach study/life skills.
- Academic support services blog, which gives you an outlet for your opinions of the Academic support services.
- Adult basic education, which, if you are 16 or older and not enrolled in public schools, teaches basic skills to start or continue your education.
- Assessment Center, which provides COMPASS, GED, WorkKeys, computer literacy, business, and industry testing.
- Focus Assessment, which helps you choose or change your major and identify your preferences or early choice of a career field.
- Transition education, which provides instruction in basic reading, writing, math, and study strategies.
- Master Advising Center, which provides academic advising.
- Online tutoring, which serves you through the Internet.
- Peer and professional tutoring, through which exceptional fellow students and faculty offer help.
- Student Success Plans, an opportunity to learn practical study skills and develop motivation to help you achieve your educational goals.
- Supplemental instruction, which provides a tutor to attend class with you and to hold study sessions to facilitate academic growth.
- TRIO Student Support Services, a federally funded program providing outreach and support, if you are an eligible low-income, first-generation, or disabled student.
- Focus on Reading, which helps you better comprehend writing, use knowledge to make decisions, achieve academic and professional skills, and become a more productive and informed member of society.
What kind of tutoring help can I get?
Our tutors help you study certain subjects, proofread papers, offer individual and group study sessions, assist with e-mail and computers, and provide other services requested by instructors.
